SOS started on July 4th, 2019 in response to a newspaper article in the local paper, The Peninsula Daily News.  This prompted leaders in the Sequim, WA community to create a Facebook Group that quickly but unexpectedly swelled to 2400 members.  Our group was organized as a 501(c)(4) non-profit on August 15, 2019.  At this time we do not have a tax deductible status.  We are a volunteer organization with no paid staff, so 100% of your contributions go to support our public information and educational efforts as well as our legal fund. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
